 Purpose of the job...

Textlocal is seeking an experienced, friendly, intelligent and self-motivated Personal Assistant to join its team based in Chester, directly supporting the Managing Director to manage daily business activity. 

The purpose of the role is to support the Managing Director and his SMT, ensuring that they have all the relevant operational data, MI and commercial information they need to ensure the effective and smooth running of the business. 

The successful candidate will have an interest in the technology market as well as strong business acumen.

The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree level and must be a fast learner.  You will need to demonstrate sound judgement in an ever-changing work environment and be able to prioritise effectively and complete a high volume of complex tasks with minimal to no supervision. 

You should have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to conclusion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

 Principal Accountabilities (responsibilities and duties):

  • Work with Finance & Commercial team to track and report on sales performance (using a range of internal Admin and reporting platforms, plus MS Excel)
  • Work with the Commercial team and Group Legal to coordinate contracts, NDA’s and other related commercial documents       
  • Coordinate internal communications (email, newsletters, Workplace)
  • Organise weekly / monthly business MI for Group reporting and management meetings
  • Act as office administer for visitors, events & travel and hospitality bookings
  • Coordinate HR admin (correspondence, recording of holidays, sickness, new starter inductions) for Group HR resource
  • Taking and circulating detailed minutes and following up on actions where necessary
  • Preparation of meeting materials for the SMT in advance
  • Maintenance of all files, presentations and correspondence pertaining to current projects and commercial deals
  • Work with other internal stakeholders to produce client facing and internal PowerPoint presentations

 Experience, qualifications and skills:

  • Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar rol
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience having worked in a fluid and fast paced environment (tech or SaaS preferable)
  • Familiarity with office gadgets and applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Discretin and confidentiality
  • Naturally proactive and good use of business initiative
  • The ability to prioritise effectivel
  • Flawless attention to detail
  • Confident and tenacious
